Our Love’ by H. B. Slade

You; a burning glance,
That sultry promise,
Made in a state of undress.
Me; a stolen kiss,
That endless embrace,
A fistful of wishes and hope.
Us; a fateful pair,
Lost in summer’s haze,
Planning for a life in the shade,
We; a fruitful trinity,
Borne of passion’s forge,
Lost in our love for another.
He; two souls entwined,
Wrapped in the twilight,
Of our innocent youth.
